Greenfields has a reputation for excellent tutoring. Whether for beginners or for experienced shots, the aim at Greenfield is to promote safety and confidence. Our tuition will help you to achieve the level you desire in a friendly and pressure-free environment.

Modern guns have low recoil, which means the kick back from the gun in almost non-existent and we are extremely safety conscious, which means you can have fun safe in the knowledge that you are in expert hands. If you are looking for an action-packed activity with a competitive edge, or you just want to try something new and exciting, then clay pigeon shooting is definitely the sport for you.

If you have never picked up a gun – don’t worry. We will show you how to use the gun and will guide you with advice and support until you feel confident to continue to improve. Once you can shoot without instruction, you will have the freedom to come and visit Greenfields at your leisure.

Private Lessons

Greenfields has a team of qualified instructors who are both expert and patient! Led by County Champion Sam McVittie, our staff are enthusiastic and happy to spend time explaining the points which will help you achieve your goals. We offer private lessons which are tailored to clients’ needs so you can be sure that you learn in an atmosphere which is relaxed and enjoyable.

Practice/Competition

Private practice at Greenfields can be arranged by appointment. Open practice shoots, which do not require pre-booking, are held on Sundays and Tuesdays. We also hold Competitions on Sundays and Tuesdays – call us for further information.
