Lessons for beginners
Firstly, you will be taught all the safety aspects of handling
shotguns and the fundamental theory and principals. You will then
progress to shooting at simple targets and from there to other more
difficult shots. You learn at your own pace, and practice makes
perfect. Advice on suitability of equipment is available, and Greenfields
provides you with a wide range of guns to suit everyone. We will
also provide all hearing and eye protection. Lessons generally last
for one hour, either on a one-to-one basis or can be shared as you
prefer.
‘Have-a-Go’
Come along and try for yourself the fun that clay pigeon shooting
can provide. Our Sunday morning ‘Have-A-Go’ events offer
exceptional value and include 25 shots and instruction. There is
no need to book, just turn up on a Sunday between 9.30am and 12.00
noon. Everything you need is supplied (but in winter do bring an
outdoor jacket and some boots!) If you want some fun and excitement,
then clay pigeon shooting is the sport to try.
Young Guns
During the school holidays we organise a Young Guns Day for boys
and girls aged between 10 and 16. The day consists of an instructional
morning, snack lunch and a friendly competition in the afternoon.
It's an ideal introduction to the sport for youngsters. To download
